Nice, also called Nice La Belle, is the center of the French Riviera. The city is amazingly beautiful and offers pretty much anything you can ask for. The city’s seaside promenade, Promenade des Anglais, has attracted those looking for relaxation but also those seeking inspiration. The hill, La Colline du Château, divides the Old Town from the harbor. Walk up the hill and enjoy the magnificent view over the city and the Baie des Anges (Bay of Angels). Visit Rue Bonaparte for the younger nightlife or just sit and relax on one of the many famous blue chairs by the sea. Many events take place in Nice such as carnivals and the jazz festival.
